While was in Tennessee for the Ingram commission, I was introduced to Anne Pope, one of the art commissioners of Tennessee. Anne then also commissioned me to paint young Will, her son. It was a joy meeting them both and me and Will got along like wildfire. It was wonderful to try and capture the smile in his eyes. It reminded me of I love to capture people.
